Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association hosts an annual “Open House” event in late Spring to provide an opportunity for anyone to come see SBJSA up close, meet and talk with members of our staff and the Board of Directors, and get a brief tour and explanation of the facilities, boats, equipment and educational programs we offer.

While enjoying some light refreshments, visitors can openly ask questions of any kind and get a feel for what we do and how we do it, all in our casual and family-friendly atmosphere.

In 2021, we’ll be hosting our annual Open House on Saturday, June 12th. Feel free to stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to see what we’re all about and explore what session and program fits your needs and interest. Kids will have a chance to go for a sailboat ride with one of our staff members!  If you’re thinking about coming to our sailing camp for the first time or you’re interested in our Community Boating program or our Fall Middle /High School sailing program coming up in September, bring your whole family and your friends and check us out!

SBJSA is committed to making the joys of sailing & other watersports available to everyone, building lifelong boaters & fostering responsible eco-awareness & stewardship of our natural resource, Great Sodus Bay on Lake Ontario.

Fun activities on the water are at the core of our educational/recreational programs & our community partnerships. Reaching out to both locals & visitors, including the underserved, we promote teamwork, leadership, community spirit, & healthy lives.
