Max Buzzell Memorial Golf Tournament

Since 2011, Sodus Bay Junior Sailing has organized and hosted an annual golf
tournament fundraiser at the Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. The tournament was
renamed in memory of Max Buzzell, an SBJSA camper, instructor, race coach
and collegiate sailing team captain, who we lost unexpectedly.  Max clearly
demonstrated all the values and love of sailing that we strive to instill in our
campers.  The tournament is held on the 3rd Monday in June. ​

Sponsors Wanted!

Sponsorships from $75 to $1500 are available and make a huge contribution to
the success of this tournament. Details are available on the registration page.
 
The tournament is a Scramble format with all the usual ways to add a little
friendly competition. Prizes for best foursome, ladies; and mens closest to the
pin and longest drives. Mulligan’s and Skirts may be purchased. There will also
be a raffle for multiple prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
