Come sail with us…
Racing and regattas are a central component of the sailing experience at the Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association (SBJSA). Whether competing at a highly competitive championship venue or enjoying friendly racing with fellow campers and alumni, regattas provide challenge, camaraderie, and lifelong memories.
Each summer on beautiful Great Sodus Bay, SBJSA offers multiple opportunities for sailors of all ages and skill levels to compete, reconnect, and grow.
Regattas We Host

Alumni Regatta
A celebration of tradition and friendship, the Alumni Regatta brings former campers, instructors, and lifelong SBJSA sailors back together on the water. It’s competitive, but just as importantly, it’s about reconnecting and reliving the spirit of summers past.

Centrals on Sodus Regatta
Our premier competitive event, the Centrals on Sodus Regatta attracts top youth and adult sailors from across the region. As an open event, it welcomes competitors from beyond SBJSA and showcases the high level of sailing on Great Sodus Bay.

Thursday Night Racing
During the summer season, Thursday Night Racing offers a weekly opportunity for campers, alumni, families, and guests to participate in fun, structured racing. It’s a perfect introduction to competition and a community favorite.
Racing Is Who We Are
