Fundraising events are critical to our annual financial planning at SBJSA and represent a key ingredient in keeping both our camp tuition fees for families at affordable rates and helping to fund necessary maintenance and improvement projects. They are also important to the ongoing legacy and feeling of family that comes with being part of the SBJSA community.
One of our 3 major fundraising events each year is the PANCAKE BREAKFAST, held on either the 3rd or 4th Sunday in June, usually the same weekend as the SBYC Challenge Cup Regatta. The Pancake Breakfast is an informal affair where SBJSA volunteers purchase, cook and serve a terrific breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, sausage and pancakes. The one-day event begins at 8 a.m. and runs until there’s no food left to cook, which is usually by 11 a.m.
While the breakfast is provided to participants at no cost, we do ask for a donation and, true to the generous support we receive from SBJSA alumni, families and residents of Sodus Point, the Pancake Breakfast generates welcome donation income to help fund our summer camp programs, for which we are very grateful.
Please join us this year on June 30, 2019 beginning at 8 a.m. for our annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser, which will run until we’re out of food to cook. Be sure you come hungry! You’re in for a breakfast treat!
