SBJSA Staff and Instructors

SBJSA staff members are carefully selected for experience, reputation, and judgment! All of our staff are certified in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. They all have their US Sailing Level I Training. All staff have many years of experience in sailing, power boats and swimming. Several staff have additional Red Cross Certifications such as Responding to Emergencies. Most were students in the program before becoming staff members. In addition, many of our current staff have also spent time as a CIT. (Counselors-in-Training) Many of our staff sail and/or race competively in single handed boats as well as on larger vessels.
