The racing program offers a full summer of racing and instruction, taught by the SBJSA racing instructors. The program includes weekly inter-club races scheduled at yacht clubs around the
Finger Lakes region, the SBYC Thursday Night Laser and Optimist Series, and the annual Sodus Bay Yacht Club Invitational Regatta in July.
A planning meeting takes place in June for the purpose of car-pool and support scheduling. Parents must actively participate in the planning, organization and transportation to the away races.
